VETERAN SUPPORT

COMMUNITY FIRST

Our campaign is built on a foundation of service and community. We are dedicated to ensuring Hammond remains a place where veterans are honored, neighborhoods are safe, and every resident has the opportunity to succeed through education.

"Service is About What You Do
When No One is Watching"

I haven’t waited for a title to serve Hammond — I’ve been doing the work for years. For me, community service has always been about rolling up my sleeves, bringing people together, and connecting resources with the people who need them most.

Through partnerships with local government, businesses, unions, the School City of Hammond, nonprofits, and our incredible Hammond youth, we have made a real impact together. From organizing food drives, community cleanups, blood drives, and disaster-relief efforts to collecting essential supplies for families right here at home and sending assistance to communities across the country devastated by natural disasters — I’ve seen what is possible when people come together with a common purpose.

This is what leadership looks like to me: showing up, building partnerships, finding solutions, and getting the work done. I’m proud of what we’ve accomplished together, but there is still more work to do.

I’ve been serving Hammond. I’ve been building relationships. I’ve been doing the work. And I’m ready to bring that same commitment to the Hammond Common Council At-Large.
